Email us and we will get back to you. Tell us your iPhone model, the iOS version and the Rarebox version, which is at the bottom of Settings in the app. If you subscribed to Premium, the order ID from Apple's receipt email helps us find your purchase.
Answers
Scanning a card
Tap Scan card at the bottom of Browse and hold the card flat inside the frame, in good light. Rarebox reads the card's text on your iPhone and shows the cards that match. Check that the game chosen in the scanner is the card's game. If a scan finds nothing, search for the card's name or number in Search.
If the scanner says camera access is needed, tap Open Settings and allow the camera for Rarebox.
Prices and currency
Values are estimates based on available market data and recent sales. They are not a guaranteed sale price, an appraisal or a grading result. To see prices in your currency, open Settings, then Currency.
Cancel Premium
Premium is billed by Apple. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge. Open App Store subscriptions, choose Rarebox, then Cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription, and you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Restore Purchases
If you reinstall Rarebox or move to a new iPhone, open Rarebox, tap Unlock Premium Insights at the top of any tab, then tap Restore at the bottom. It brings back Premium bought with the same Apple Account.
Delete your data
- To remove a card, remove it from your Watchlist or collection in the app. It is deleted from our servers too.
- Deleting a collection deletes its name. The cards that were in it stay saved.
- Rarebox has no account, so deleting the app does not delete what is stored on our servers.
- To delete everything, email us with the subject "Delete my Rarebox data". Rarebox does not show your user ID, so if you subscribed to Premium, include the order ID from Apple's receipt email. It leads us to your data, and we delete all of it. If you never subscribed, nothing we hold is linked to your name, email address or Apple Account, so we may not be able to tell which data is yours.
